Put in pots of compost until the weather improves. I never feed my strawbs.

so your saying do not plant them into my strawberry pot and not to mix fish blood and bone into the compost.

I thought you could plant bare roots now outside

I always put mine into small pots when I first get them and then plant out when it's somewhat warmer. If they're going into fresh compost you don't really need to feed but I give mine a decent feed after they've fruited.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Just needs to be non frosty or adverse weather before planting. I usually give them a little feed when they flower, TS.
