    Can I put banana skins in my compost bin? There's six or 7 every week and it seems such a waste to bin them. Thanks everso.

      yes compost the lot, and they are good for ripening toms too.

        If you have roses you can also chop up the skins and pop them under the soil/compost around the roses.
        If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess

          Thanks peeps. I compost as much as I can. I would compost my hubby's sox except they have nylon in.
