  • Baby veg. Leaves.

I have just been reading an article in the paper about growing baby veg leaves for using in stir fries or salads now that it is getting too cold to grow outdoors.
I thought it was a good way to use up my old seeds that are coming to the end of their sell-by date.
He suggested growing in containers like the ones you get in the supermarket with mushrooms and such like.
Ihe suggested a sunny window sill or conservatory.
Going to get my seed box out today and give this a try.
    Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Definitely sounds worth a try especially if you've got loads of seeds that need using up.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
