Do any of you know if any retailers are doing any decent deals on a 200+ litre water butt, stand and diverter kit?

Do your local council have any arrangements for water butts? When ours send out the leaflet with the compost bin deals (usually in the council tax bill
) they usually water-butts on there too. Also, the water companies sometimes have deals on butts too.

The council only list compostors (will be bagging one of those for £23 for 330l), not water butts.
The water co do them, but they're twice the price of B&Q for half the capacity!

There have been a couple of water butts listed on our local Freecycle recently - might be worth checking out yours local groups and posting a request.Comment

Tesco seem to be doing 210L inc diverter for £29, which is the best deal I've found so far for around this capacity. Stand for £9, but out of stock of these.
Would have thought B&Q and the garden centres would have stocked up on these considering everywhere's pushing grow your own (LOL which is why I need one - sold into the idea fully a few weeks back)Comment

argos have a 220l butt including a stand and diverter for £35.19.Comment

No probs!
I was very lucky and managed to get two water butts from my local freecycle site but got the stands and diverter from Wickes.
From one of the Top Tips threads Wickes was highly recommended for it's multi purpose compost too but I haven't tried that yet!
(I promise I don't own shares!)

Got a Butt and stand from wickes, and a Marley diverter from Focus (Wickes had sold out).

We got a Butt (29.99) , stand (9.99) and diverter kit (2.98) from Wilkinsons yesterday. The ones in our local B & Q were nearly 50% more expensive.Comment

I'm waiting for a Wilkinsons water butt also, I spotted the deal a few weeks back, it must be a good deal as every time I go to buy it on the website it is out of stock!Comment
