Another compost question

Ok, here is where my inexperience really shows up...

I was at the garden centre the other day and noticed there was a slightly bewildering array of compost on offer.

I am really confused. I thought compost was compost, although I do realise that you get different soil types, so I guess this is kinda the same.

Which is which?
