Do you know the dual carriageway that goes from Heapey/Wheelton to the motorway? (It goes past the leisure centre)?
Coming from the Red Cat pub (Wheelton) towards Chorley there is a house on the left hand side with a sign outside saying "last manure before the M6!". Just before the left hand junction to Chorley and right hand junction to Whittle Le Woods. Give them a try - I'll be doing so as soon as I can.
