Default white flys

I have little white flys all over my herb bed!! are these carrot fly? they are tiny and are pure white. there is also little green ones but not as many. they dont seem to be affecting the plants but what do i do about them??

im new to veg growing so please help.

They are whitefly, and the green ones are aphids. Carrot fly are a bit bigger and ordinary fly colour.

You can squash the aphids with your fingers or use a spray.

If you Google these pests you will find all kinds of ideas for dealing with them, organically and otherwise.

I use Rhubab water as they don't like the smell, however after heavy rain the fluid has to be reapplied, works for me and it's free.
Just put Rhubab leaves in a barrel, top up with water, allow to rot, when it smells awfull, apply with watering can. Water can be sived through tights or HGV Air filter to stop the watering can from clogging too often.
Improvise, adapt and overcome.
