  • Wild Boar Farms tomatoes

A thread for any comments, pictures and growing experience of any tomato varieties originally from Wild Boar Farms.

I've grown a few, and they're certainly very attractive tomatoes

Cascade Lava, Pink Boar, Yellow Furry Boar, Black & Brown Boar.

    And how about Dark Galaxy?

It looks like Trip kindly shared it with the 2016 Tomato Seed Circle, so there should be a few floating around with Vine members?

It looks very similar but darker than the Cascade Lava I've grown.

Can't see anything on that site about sending seeds to the UK although I'm sure you'll tell me that they do!!
Black & Brown Boar have been in the VSP for years - Blonde Boar too, I think. Not grown them myself.

Ive grown pink boar, black and brown- tasty but a very small crop- grown several times. Blonde boar - I think we discussed last year? I'm not s lover of white or yellow toms I've grown it and really didn't like it - after a little persuasion I tried it again - I found it tasteless.
Grown dark galaxy twice - both times plants had small crops and succumbed to early death there's much tastier black varieties out there IMO.

I've obviously lead a sheltered life! I've not heard of any of those varieties or wild boar farm
But I want all of them. Especially the dark galaxy. Even after what scarlet's said!
I must resist!! I have no space

I've never heard of Wild Boar Farm either, SP - and I don't buy seeds from outside the UK/EU as their climate can be so different to ours.

Tyson Fury's defence for failing a drug test and getting a boxing ban, was eating wild boar which are supposedly full of testosterone.

              Testosterone filled tomatoes.........pereish the thought!

You may have better luck than me.

I must admit I don't buy seeds from outside uk. It doesn't stop me looking at all the bright shiny things and wanting them

I'm hoping for better luck with all my tomatoes! This year was pitiful

They would have arrived sooner but the first envelope disappeared from my kitchen -(grrrr- kids!) I thought it would turn up but it didn't so not as many seeds per variety unfortunately. Though you can always plant up the armpits .
                        Good luck!
