  • Moving on to pastures new

Well the move is almost with us. The clock it ticking and the Van is booked.

Giving up the Dear Green Place for the Wet Green Place... or it could be the other way around - Anyway - Glasgow for Wigtown. The common elements are wet and green, oh and we now have a view. With green in mind, noticed today that I'm going to have to cut the grass the next fine day. Its going to be bit of a task with the wet and density of the grass. I've cut paths to plan out an acre of wilderness into plots for veg, polytunnel, chickens, orchard, etc, etc. So now the plans for the veg patch can be updated (have been playing at it this last year, so now do a crop rotation cycle and get plots dug over and seeds carefully selected for 2018. Polytunnel, chicken Runs and pens can now be planned and progressed.

Made progress last week. Moved all the DIY stuff from the house to the byre, so now have no space in byre

Hello 4Shoes, a belated welcome to the Vine from me.

I think your forum issues have been sorted now so I have moved your post into a new thread of its own so that it makes more sense. Hope everything goes well for you

I will watch with a sharp eye, you are warmer and wetter over there, but I might learn about some plants I've not yet tried.

Best of luck, 4Shoes. Sounds like you've got a lot of land to play with at the Wet Green Place. Hope you have lots of fun.

Thanks for moving the posting. Just posted it there to let it "die on the vine".
