  • Bareroot fruit tree storage.

I have 4 bareroot fruit trees that I need to plant, but I won't be able to for 2-3 weeks. What's the best way to store them? I was thinking of potting in moist compost until I can plant, will this be ok?

You can heel them into pots or the bed https://www.ashridgetrees.co.uk/gard...ice/heeling-in

Aye, Heeling them in is the best way.

That'll give you so much more time and takes the pressure off until next year if need be

All healed in, this will give me the time I need now to properly prepare their new home. Thanks again.
