Depending on your budget. If you are a bit canny you might be able to get local supermarket/restaurant to donate in return for a "prizes donated by" in your advertising

A packet of Carolina reaper seeds
Chilli vodka
Chilli chocolate
Sweet chilli crisps
Chill jam/sauce
I think Tabasco have a new hottests sauce ever out
Meal at a local curry house

We do have a curry house of sorts. Quality is a little hit and miss

Some very good ideas there, thank you.

We are in talks with one hotel to host the contest. So I think asking shops for prizes ( very nicely

) is a great idea. And rennies for the runners up

After you're brilliant prize ideas, I want to do a bit more brain picking.

Name / title for the contest? All I can come up with is either cheesy or mildly insulting

Then how do we get money out of them? ( as it's for charity)
We've already got an entry fee for the contest, a raffle and passing a collection bucket round.

I watched a you tube video of a similar event starting with the mildest chilli then working through them to end with a Carolina Reaper.

Might be worth video-ing yours, (Glasses of cold milk and puke buckets are a necessity.) then I'm sure you can think of a constructive way to make money from the video.
