BT Scam / Phishing Email

Realistically they can't stop every iteration of scam emails... its like an ongiong arms race between the spammers and the spam filter(ers).

True but if you forward it to phishing@bt.com they do take action to block and trace the offender who in this case as a

And someone has to be paying the bill each month so they should be able to track the bugger down and nab him or her or if it ends up being a coffee shop wait for the little toe rag to come back and grab him in the act!

You missed the point I am a BT customer and if they already know about it then why isn't their spam filter intercepting it and stopping it getting to me? That's the question.

I'm with BT and they do send a lot of incoming spam straight into the spam box. When I see summat in the Inbox I hover the mouse over it to see who sent it. If I don't recognise the sender it goes into spam as well and BT add it to their filters.
No way would I open a dubious email just to confirm that it really is spam. Even I'm not that crazy
