  • Chinese cabbage ruined

Well another one to tick off the disaster list. My carefully grown and netted chinese cabbage have all been ruined by something. I should just give up because every year gets worse for me

Looks like cabbage white caterpillar damage to me, was the netting touching the plant leaves? if they can get their backside through the net, they will lay their eggs.

burnie could be right, but I suspect an attack by Spanish slugs. You'll probably find the culprits hiding during the day under stones or pots or in any kind of damp crevices. And if you go out at night you might catch them red-handed. Those plants will probably recover if you can prevent any more attacks.
