  • Dahlia question.

    Hi all.
I've grown 5 Dahlis from tubers, the first has flowered and is gorgeous.
(If I knew how to post a picture I would.)
It's not something I've grown before.
All 5 are in pots most I think are in bud. Am I too late to put them in the ground in my allotment?? Incidentally. All five are the same variety as my intention was to have the odd one for a vase. Bought at Wilkinsons for £2 a pack!
    Look forward to your help.

I'd put them in the ground and water well, don't let them dry out for the next couple of weeks.

I've hot a few dahlias, one has been out for weeks, several of the others are only just starting to open and a couple haven't got buds on yet! I love dahlias.

Just stuck one in the ground and it's flowering well

There's a size cap on uploads of 2mb, if the photo is larger than this you have to edit it to crop or resize it.

If you set your camera resolution to 3 mega pixels you shouldn't have to resize the image.
