    SB Plant Invigorator

    I've been hearing a lot about this product..........pretty much all good, but I've not really found any real information on which fruit/veg/flowers it's best to use it on. Can any of you guys help me out by giving your experiences of it and what it's best used for? I read one chap used it on his leeks, why?

    I'd read it was good for powdery mildew on courgettes, but found it had no effect. If it did anything, it might have allowed the plant to limp on and go walkabout out of the raised bed, but it never produced another flower.

    Looking forward to hearing what I can use the remainder of the bottle on!

      Thanks for responding, you read loads of things about products but getting someones actual experience of it is really worthwhile................................and can save you a packet.

        Resurrecting this old thread to ask if anyone has more information on this product? It sounds too good to be true (no nasty chemicals, doesn't harm beneficial insects, no harvest interval, yada yada yada.) Can't seem to find out what it actually IS, though. And if it's so harmless, how come you have to not get it on your skin or in your eyes? I'm not sure I fancy eating fruits that have been bathed (it says to spray it until it drips off) in something that I shouldn't even get on my skin.

        Is it basically just expensive washing up liquid?

          It seems to include some Iron and Nitrogen as a feed, but the only thing that needs the warning is the Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, which makes suds, like in toothpaste and detergents. That's what would be killing pests which are sprayed with the solution, just same as spraying with washing up liquid in solution.

          Doesn't seem to be any better than spraying with a foliar feed and washing up liquid spray, like you do for aphids.

            That's what I suspected. Ah well, I've got a bottle now so I might as well try it, but probably won't be buying any refills.
