  • Gooseberry Cuttings

I've just been reading Islander1's thread about his bargain Gooseberry bush.
A couple of people have suggested taking cuttings when the bush has been pruned.
My question is how/when should I prune my gooseberries and how should I go about taking cuttings?
    Any advice welcome!

There's advice in the Forum's growing guides on how and when to prune Growing Gooseberries | How To Grow | Grow Your Own

I bury the cuttings to half their length in a pot of compost, sometimes I just poke them in the soil in an empty spot. I'm not an expert - I just do whatever seems right at the time
