The above is both sides of a single trerracotta tile about 6 inches X 9 inches with two fixing holes.

Its already been mooted that they could be used as ginormous plant labels. These have an 'M' stamped on the inside face so I reckon they could be 'Marley tiles'?

Seems such a shame to waste them.

would they be nice on your shed roof,or the chicken house, you could also build yourself another shelter and use them for the roof and sides, count what area they will cover,a wishing well with flowers or veg,and a roof of them, make a nice feature down the plots.

So I will have 1000 tiles and six stained glass windows. The plot thickens.

Stacked with twig spacers to make an insectarium or frogitat. Slide them under your squash to keep them off the deck.
Love LD's idea of making a roof but could also be used to shingle the front of a building.

As they've already got the holes you could fix them to a head strap and use them as blinkers.

                        How about soles for sandals?
                        or snowshoes for winter?

You could have a trendy matching set of blinkers, ear muffs and loin cloth?

I think VC gets the award for the most constructive use for them!

Must admit I still haven't been talked into utilising them yet so I think I'll leave them alone.........................well maybe just few!

Shame, as they look very Aztec/Inca in style and would suit my plot in some form I haven't thought of yet.!
