  • Companion plant for catmint?

What perennial would be a good companion for catmint walkers low? Something to plant in front of the catmint as a border. Any suggestions?☺

Catmint (nepeta cataria) tends to grow tall then flop and sprawl in every direction so I think anything small you plant in front of it would be covered and smothered unless you intend to prop up the catmint with supports.

If I was going to put another plant with nepeta, I'd choose one with acid yellow tones, such as alchemilla mollis, or one of the euphorbias, to contrast the pale purple.

    Endless wonder.
