Bit of a fishing pole inspired meets "Space aerial" design...

Made from metal tube, x8 small canes + x4 canes for top, 1/2 brick, cut up site 110v armoured wire off cuts bits of metal wire.

The bent canes give it tension on the wire.

Thinking of doing similar with old bike wheels, tieing string onto the holes where spokes go in the rim. I do like an odd garden structure

All good ideas... clothes line, bicycle wheel rim (you might have to fix it somehow, stop it spinning)

Once you've harvested your beans you can always rent it out to SETI.

HH are you thinking of removing the spokes? If so how are you going to mount the empty rim to a pole?

That brick looks like it could fall on someone's head, could the weight of the beans move the poles,it doesn't look secure? Good luck!
