Is it ok to leave chillis and less hardy herbs such as Basil and coriander outside now at night ?

ive started moving my chillis up to my plot now (to put them in the greenhouse) i would say yes its fine just keep an eye on the overnight temps anything below 5 degreas is bad news apart from that you should be fine

I was thinking anything below 10 degrees I would move them in , but it seems its to be hitting 12 -13 degrees now

if you can move them in and out with not much hassle then id put them out in the day and bring them in at night (if you get worried) for a couple of weeks to harden them off but i think you`ll be ok ,there your plants so do what you think is best

Very warm for the next week or so with temperatures unlikely to get much below 10C unless you are on a mountain or in the far north. I've left the greenhouse open as the main issue is likely to be overheating if it is sunny. A good week to put things like tomatoes, courgettes, beans etc outside.

I've got mine outside, but I'm not very soft with any of my plants. The long term forecasts are showing cold over night temps for the second week of June, but I'm ignoring it or nothing will ever get outside!!

I have had baccatums and annuums outside for a week or more and have left them out with forecasts down to 8 a couple of nights but will drag them into the garage overnight if it is forecast to drop much lower. Keeping the chinenses indoors, though.

I've been leaving the chillis out over night the last few days. Making the most of the opportunity to not have to bring them in and take them out again. If I forget it'll be the end of them, the conservatory registered 50 degrees today....

As others say I'd just keep an eye on the night-time temperatures. Looking good for at least the next few days at least.
