    Can anyone tell me if this is a weed, the largest one in the picture.

        It has the look of a member of the dock family to me, is it in the wrong place? if so it's a weed.

          Looks like lettuce to me, let it grow on a bit to be sure. If it is eat it!

              To me it looks like either lettuce, chard or spinach the leaves look a bit too floppy for it to be a dock.
              Location....East Midlands.

                I think the leaves look too ribbed for lettuce, I would have guessed at a campanula of sorts

                  Not seen a lettuce with leaves like that myself,could it be a horse radish root,have a look at the side of the root,see what it looks like,a root like a parspip ext,or fine bunchy roots as in lettuce,just be gentle and water the ground after,to settle it back if you keeping it.
