Do you recognise the plant from the leaves in the pic? All I have been told is it is a perennial, hard to kill, lots of greenery most of the time with insignificant flowers. A friend calls it babys bonnet so am guessing cow parsley, hemlock family

Any scent when you touch/crush the leaves?

Sorry, it is an outdoor plant. The pic is just of the leaves in a vase indoors As far as I am aware there is no smell, but I can't smell anything at the moment

When you get the chance you can also check out if it has a stem, if there's any markings on the stem, if it has a tap root, tuberous root etc.

The leaves look like hamburg parsley - but it also loons like other things. I don't think it looks like cow parsley or hemlock, I'm sure those leaves are pointier.

Sorry can't help with an official name, but my Gran used to have what looked very similar to your pictures and I'm pretty sure Baby was in the name. I found it once at a garden centre, but no garden at the time. I think it has whiteish or yellowish flowers, or possibly a hint of pink, whatever the colour the flowers are small and not very noticeable amongst the foliage. From what I remember it's quite tall about 3 - 4 foot, or perhaps I was little at the time!

Is it one of the Meadow Rue family - Thalictrum dioicum possibly?
