  • Driving Me Barmy!

    Have any of you guys got any tips on how to stop a rug walking on't carpet, it appears to walk if you just look at it............it's driving me bonkers!
    Personal experiences would be appreciated as I've goggle several solutions but like owt else the proof is in the pudding..........

    What type of flooring is it on BM?

    We had one in the lounge and found velcro best, the hook half

      6 inch nails?

      I've tried those under mat thingies but they didnt work

        Double sided sticky tape, here, it lasts a while before it needs renewing.

            Well I've just moved it & put a sofa on one corner, a sofa on the other & the TV on another, let's see the bagger move now...................

              Nope it won't move BM just develope a curious 'hump' in the middle.

                    Theres a product you can buy to put under a carpet. Its like open net but made of some type of rubber. It stops the mat from moving.

                      It will -I have one in the sitting room that has two feet of my chair on it and it still wriggles out from under.

                      Here by the computer table all 4 feet of the Lloyd loom chair are on it, but it still moves away from the table.....I think rugs are just natural gypsies....

                        Apart from the 6 inch nails Jay suggested how about putting a coffee table on top of it, that's the only thing that held ours in place.

                            Thats what I was on about - it stayed put and the rug moved about
