I have some cabbage plants ready for planting, but will be away from home for a few days, so think I will need to plant them before going away, I have fleece, enviromesh and a Sun tunnel which is basically a large polycarbonate closed cloch with air vents, the veg. bed gets full Sun (when it shines) the greenhouse can reach 30c. if the doors don't get opened,so what would you use to protect the plants

You're early, I only sowed my summer cabbages yesterday, probably a month before I will be planting out, I know it's warmer over on the west side, but we might still get some more snow yet.Comment

I like to get my cabbage plants in early as if there is any club root present the plants will be well enough developed before they get effected by it. Also I'm not sure it any warmer thies side ad we don't get as much Sun in this areaOriginally posted by burnie View Post
