    Tool identification and use?

    The pictures are of a tool which belonged to my grandad and was curious if anyone new its name or proper use?

    Pictures dont really show the angle of the blade very well but guess it is used for drawing a deep furrow

      Much too big I think, blade is about 8 inches across

          Thanks NG looks very close, those shown are at a lot sharper angle but the principle is the same

              How about a hand held potato ridger?

              Of course it would have to depend on the height of the hand that held the ridger but it could be used sidways (which every way that might be!!!)

                      How long is the handle?
                      Can we have a photo of the angle of the head to the handle please?

                          Too dark now and i have left the plot.....or lost it!
