Melons are ambititious...ive not had much success though I can say the smell of melons in the GH is fab! What about tomatoes? They are easier

I have grown melons here - they were Minnesota Midgets (titchy little things) and I grew them in a greenhouse. Its good to have an ambition and I'm sure you'll succeed

Hello and welcome from me too.

I've managed (smallish) watermelons outside in South London, but greenhouse melons have always failed me. Not that I'm going to give up trying!

I hear its alway "sun-shiny" in South Wales so I think you'll be ok with your melons.
I managed to grow a few last year in an unheated greenhouse - I'm a little south of you so maybe a little warmer, but you will probably manage ok just might need to give them a little protection.

Anyhow, welcome along - lots of good advice here.

Hi and welcome to the vine

I managed melons last year in the greenhouse but they were about a third of the size they should have been. Will give them a couple more years before I give up on them.
