Does anyone know if sweet peas cross pollinate readily or are they quite well behaved? I have had a gurgle but can only find info on how to cross pollinate or info for peas

They are very well behaved. You can grow different varieties side by side and they almost all come true to the parent.
Last year I grew 2 or 3 plants of each of 8 varieties from saved seed and they were all fine. The only plant I had that wasn't true to type was in a packet I bought, go figure! -
