Just to get the ball rolling:

tidy - like

not a winner this year I feel - but come high summer next year when my shed/pagoda is inundated with grapes well, a picture then will paint a thousand words

A good number of you have encouraged him in this endeavor (perhaps unwittingly), gave him "the wink" with his wild ideas and now you seem to have left him adrift and rudderless?

The old usenet group uk.rec.sheds FAQ explained that a shed could be of any size or construction. The only thing that mattered was whether it was used for shedism. I can't find the FAQ now, but it went on to give a list of objects that were found in sheds to help distinguish a true shed for an imposter. I recall that it started with
- a tennis ball that has lost its fur
- a can of WD40 without a straw
and ended with the ultimate shed accessory
- a cobblers last.

Slightly to my surprise I see that uk.rec.sheds actually still exists within g00gle groups, but it's not the font of shed-oriented wisdom that it was in its heyday.

My own sheds definitely qualify under the basic definition but are in no way exceptional so I won't be entering them for consideration at this time.

You can enter as many sheds as you like as far as I am concerned, the more the merrier,but I would prefer they were entered on individual posts? This way, I can call it JJ's pink shed or JJ's blue shed or if its not obvious JJ's shed on post blah, blah blah. If that makes sense.

I'll try and split Cads sheds but if I have no luck I'll shout 'HELP' for a Mod to intervene.

I've got my summerhouse which needs titivation and an open fronted shed which I haven't even built yet, to enter!

Timber slatted shoe racks have been modified and upcycled to fit on one of the benches for butternut squash storage and onion drying

Hi Cadalot. To save confusion, is picture 1 & 4 the same, and 2,3 and 5 the same? If so can you enter one of the sheds individually on another post and delete one set of pictures from your original post, if that makes sense?

I was also confused Cadders. I wasted a good 2 minutes of my life looking for Jen in picture 1, thinking she must be v. small and/or good at camouflage.
Finally spotted her in t'other picture...
I may see if I've got photos of my 'historical' sheds in the archive... it'll help while away the hours for you 'shedphiliacs'
