Me and the OH are having a bit of a disagreement. We found this on our plot. He says its a squash and i say its a watermelon. Who is right?

Either of you have a knife handy? (though they aren't good in disagreements...)
It looks like one of my squashes - calabaza de angel, but also a bit like the watermelon I grew last year. Sorry to be no help whatsoever!

First off did you plant either of them and what sort of size is it,also,second is it hard or soft,and smell it,cut it it open,if a melon it will oose with juice and smell like a melon,if a squash it will be firmer,the seeds are also different inside,squash are larger and drier,melon are smaller and longer in a wet matter,if how ever it was found outside,my money would be squash not melon.
