    Hello all,

I've just found you and thought I'd join in. It looks quite busy here

I've had an allotment for 10 years now and grow from seed at home. The windowsills are full in April OH even lets me set up a table in the living room which has a floor to ceiling window

Looking forward to have a look around.

Hello Linda I grow all my plants from seed too,it's quite relaxing to get lost in your little garden seed world! I use my kitchen in Feb/March like a few others as a potting station & fill every windowsill & a bit of the floor, talking about the floor to ceiling windows,I've got the same thing but sliding doors,I'm thinking of a big tall shelving unit for next April, more pot space!

                  Hello all,

                  Thank you for the welcome.

On the plot I am starting fresh this coming year. With the help of OH I am re-establishing the beds. We have grass paths which have grown into the beds. We have just had our flat roof replaced and I have asked them leave the old fascia boards which I am going to use as hedging. Plus they kindly left a left over piece.

On the plot we have a loganberry and a plum tree. This year I grew potatoes, courgettes, sweet peas, tomatoes, raspberries (these have been dug up now as they had exhausted themselves) Onions and 1 and a 1/2 carrots I sowed them too close to the courgettes and yes I know courgettes grow well

On the windowsills I grew rudbeckia, antirrnhum, strawberries, verbena bonariensis, dahlia cuttings, started off onions in modules, begonia and lobelia plugs.

                    Welcome from me too, Linda...!

Sounds like you know what you're doing on your plot ....... but, if you're ever stuck for an answer on (almost!!!) anything ~ you've come to the right place...!!!

It's great that you don't feel like you're the only person who has windowsills smothered with seedlings .....

                    Plot pictures please!
