    Mystery Green Tide

    This strange growth is moving across a bed. I've often had it in pots before.

    Any idea what it is please? What is encouraging it to grow? Not had it in a bed before.

    A type of liverwort I think. I don't really know their purpose or reason. I don't think they harm though so that's a start

      Have looked on t'interweb & it looks like pellia epiphylla - as NorfolkGrey says a liverwort. Doesn't do any harm really but can be a bit of a weed. Likes moist soils.
