    Desert Island Veg

    What would you choose if you were stranded on a desert island and could only have one pack of seeds ?
    My choice would be from
    • Cobra climbing french bean
    • Yellow courgette
    • Sun Gold tomato


    And I would probably take Sun Gold

    Okra.

    Of course I'd have to have oil, flour, corn meal, eggs, and seasonings so I could fry up a batch every day or two. And the ingredients, including lots of andouille, to make a pot of gumbo on the weekends.

        Carrots, with free draining sandy soil and no carrot fly, I'd stand half a chance!

          Common sense says potatoes, since you can actually live off those. However, I would tend to agree with Jimmy that Sungold tomatoes would be nicer.
