  • don't it ever stop?

I am sitting here, looking out at rain that wont stop, if I was out in that, trying to catch up, I would probably look like I had spent an hour in the bath, all full of wrinkles and pasty skin, the gardeners club would look like a derby and joan reunion meeting, or a reminder to do the ironing....

no way ,snow means dead slugs, and round here ,after the last warm winter, they seem the size of my hand, so a good long snowfall will be welcome. we have some toads that have moved in thankfully.... we have thrushes galore and two piles of empty snail shells that reappear as fast as I clear them, but this constant wet weather is not helping at all in clearing the slugs out, so work in progress..

In Wales they say if you can see the mountains it's not raining yet. If you can't see the mountains it's already raining. i have been there on holiday and it's a lovely place, but rain is always a feature it seems. There must be an upside, I just can't think what it is.
Can we have a bit of sympathy here on the south east coast where we have to go weeks sometimes without rainfall. If you spent 45 mins every day with watering cans trying to keep the produce alive you'd have something different to complain about.
No wonder us Brits always discuss/complain about the weather eh! Theres no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Nope, sorry I have no sympathy! . Sick and tired of the rain also BUFFS...this Spanish plume which is arriving in the UK is not even going to reach us up here. My OH keeps telling me that this is why we have such a lush landscape...even he is getting sick of it.

The Spanish Plume is supposed to be on it's way - again.

Heating on as it is really chilly in here.
