  • What to do with Pansies

Normally steer clear of flowers but got these free.

Planted a few weeks ago in a small tray in Greenhouse.
    About half inch high now.
Do I plant them on into a seed tray or can I put them in some 12 inch pots I have ready.
    The pots are outside.
    Thanks
    Jimmy

I would plant them in a larger seed tray about 2ins apart or individually into small pots to let them get a larger before planting them in your large pots.

I potted them on as suggested.
But suspect there might be an interloper.
        One looks decidedly different.
Although it has serrated leaves and sort of looks the same.

        Perhaps like my pumpkin patch
        see http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...pumpkin-3.html
it's an invader from another dimension.

        What's the consensus
        Thanks

Yep, that there's no pansy! I think it's that geranium-type weed with the tiny pink flowers that I don't know the proper name of.

Yes thanks, I have lots of trouble with them.
            And bindweed.
            And Mare Tail, arrgh.
I treat Mare tail with roundup, all the other plants die but Mares tail just shrugs it off.
Still that's another whinge in another post.

            Regards
            Jim
