  • ID this plant?

    Hi

I had three fruit trees in root form, unfortunately 2 have not grown and one is starting to, but the children have been at the labels and i cannot tell what this plant is, any ideas

the 3 were red currant, black currant, and black berry

    Thanks :-)

          Currant of some sort (red/black/white).
If you leave it unpruned, next year it will probably produce a few fruits and you'll have your answer as to whether it's a redcurrant or blackcurrant.
          .

Current - like VC says, rub it and smell - smells like blackcurrant. Redcurrant leaves just smell of, well, greeney leaves...
              Another happy Nutter...
