    Alternatives to glass for greenhouse?

    I've just had to resurrect my old greenhouse as I've run out of space in the main g/h.
    As I don't have enough glass to finish it off I am looking for cheaper alternatives to glass as a quick-fix solution.
    I noticed clear as glass pvc glazing offered by Norfolk Greenhouses but believe this will be too thin at 0.15mm. Nothing going free on freecycle either.
    Has anyone any solutions to offer?

    4mm Twin Wall Polycarb. You can buy large sheets & cut it to size.

      Did it work

      Hello. I’ve just rescued a greenhouse frame from a 6ft high abandoned jungle plot on my site with permission from the manager. I was looking at replacement panels as well. I came across this on eBay at quite a cost effective option.

      4mm Clear Polycarbonate 610mm x 1220mm Ideal For Greenhouses (2ft x 4ft)

      Will it work?? And how do I fix it it?? Was going to bond it in with some kind of silicone adhesive. Also how do you anchor the greenhouse to the floor??

        Regarding the polycarb, it depends on the frame, some frames you slide the panels into slots but most are held in with clips:
