  • What Would You Buy With A Fiver?

If someone gave you a fiver and told you you had to spend it, what would you buy?

You are allowed to double it if need be but that's all, you mustn't spend more than a tenner.

Would it be a gardening related purchase? A small household gadget? Something personal?

Would it be something you needed? Or since it was a free fiver, would you get something frivolous?

All my initial wish list things are more than a tenner.

I have already just spent it . Avon skin so soft dry oil in an attempt to save myself from bites and some bodywash just to make sure

I would buy something completely frivolous. I have so many seeds that I could start a market garden so mine would most probably go on jewellery making supplies. At the moment, my favourite supplier is selling pearls at ridiculous prices so I would probably buy them.

That question is going to be my ' thought for today'....I'll get back to you later on that....probably something I don't need for a total change! . ( I'm presuming I HAVE to spend it on myself?)
I'm naturally a giver , not a taker , so it's hard for me to spoil myself!

1 lot of coir blocks 50L and 1 pint of beer - I'd pop the change either into a beggars hat or a charity tin to save it weighing down my trousers pocket :-)

                  I'd buy a cookery book.

I'd spend it on a bunch of flowers for someone who needs a little pick-me-up.
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!

I would buy a pair of multi-coloured socks and throw out an old pair, I love cheery new socks!

At this precise moment probably a pint. In a calmer state of mind seeds.

                            Quite a diverse selection really.

I think I've settled on buying a digital kitchen timer with my fiver. Go me, I'm just too 'out there' for my own good sometimes! < Take note.

@SP, I hope whatever required the calming effects of a pint has now passed.
