after losing more melons to the cold, in a greenhouse, we picked the pot grown goosegogs and all the blackcurrants yesterday and OH has made loads of ice cream with them, so I know we are okay for puds for a while, with more rhubarb ready to be picked any day now, and about a builders bucket of goosegogs at least yet to be picked, and a bumper crop of apples and some figs to look forward to..so time to ignore the cold and dark and enjoy what we do have...

and that's not counting all the lovely raspberries we pick every 2-3 days, most of which are heading to the freezer as there is only so much we can eat each day, so squirrelling loads away for winter treats...one really happy bunny as the bramleys are coming on just fine....
