  • ID this beastie ?

    Forgot to post this the other day - whilst out in the back garden the other day workin on a timber project or two I felt something on my leg - flicked it off and took some pics. Definitely not a slug nor an earthworm. I think it might be a leech and I just got lucky.





    Should perhaps have done one of my upsidedown videos for clarity...

    Does look like a leech. Got things like that in my pond.

        Thanks for the link Martin. It was doing the side to side head movement mentioned in that article so it seems likely it was a flatworm. Have to do a bit more reading about them - didn't know we had so many native species.
