  • Creature of Habit?

Where do you look when you first open the Vine? I clocked myself this morning doing the same routine as most days:

Look to see who's got a birthday that day
    General Chitchat to say Hello
    Just For Fun
    Wisdom for the day
Vegging Out to see latest happenings
    Browse the rest

New posts - to see if anything 'tickles my fancy'.

      Then straight to Vegging Out.
.......because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo. (Veggie Chicken - 25/01/18)

Chit chat and then new posts that is the normal routine.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

I refuse to like that. You and the other Mods do do brilliantly though x

Edit: I always do new posts first.

Sadly, its true, NG. You never know what rubbish will have been posted overnight - though Nicos mops a lot of it up during her sleepless nights
If you're not aware of the rubbish, then we're doing our "job"

                        1. check any likes received
                        2. check new posts on subscribed threads
                        3. check new posts for anything I fancy reading

Sometimes I'll then start at 1 again and have to make myself stop

I struggled when I first joined to 'find' new things - the above works for me, although I still seem to miss loads of things!

Boringly I start at the top of the list and work downwards. Unless the last post in the section looks half interesting, that therefore is the one whole title is displayed, I will pass over, so I do not look into very many.
