    Tiny Tim Tomato

    Anyone grown this variety? It's very small and it's really throwing me with regards to when to pot up etc. The ones I have are around 5 inches tall, ordinarily I'd give toms a bit more time to bulk up before potting on and then another few weeks on top before planting out. I have no idea with these... They grow up to 12-16 inches, so they've still got a little way to go but I'm not sure when to pot up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom.

    Not grown these either, but why not have a look at the rootball? If really congested then definitely time to pot on. If the roots haven't filled the pot then leave a while longer.

      I've grown these and they do only grow to about 12 inches. I put them into their final position (in 12 inch pots) about now. I seem to remember their rootball wasn't particularly vigorous.

        I've grown them and like Mark says they are small the sort of thing you can grow on a windowsill.
        Location....East Midlands.

          Thanks everyone. I potted them on this afternoon, they didn't have a very large rootball. I'm going to give them a few weeks then put them in hanging baskets I think.
