  • Edible flowers

    Hi all,

Before I poison the family and any guests we may have this summer, please can you knowledgeable peeps confirm that calendula, Busy Lizzie and cornflower are all edible?

    Thanks.

The only ones of those I eat are calendula which I love on a salad. The others may (or may not) be but couldn't say one way or another. Nasturtiums are nice too as are borage flowers.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Thanks Alison, I too like nasturtiums as edibles. I'll do some more googling on the rest, evidence uncovered so far is inconclusive!
