  • When will this blasted good weather end!

I actually had to water pots and the GH up on the plot today after 4 days away... When will this bloomin warm weather go away so I no longer have to carry cans around?
I've also started sneezing! (Blasted pollen...)

Squash had started to builk up - soon I'll be worrying about excessive amounts of courgettes... never mind Brexit...

Runner beans are sprouting all over the place - in modules, direct in the soil, accidentally
spilt underneath the GH frame and coming along with, dare I say excessive, vim and vigour. My neighbours will soon be crossing the road to avoid me as I trudge towards them weighed down with carrier bags full of runners.

'No, no thank you. I like runner beans but really, I can't take anymore... I really can't.'

    Meh!

(Actually, its a Bank Holiday weekend so I guess come Sat / Sun / Mon my concerns will be over.)

it's been lovely in the South East until tonight when it has got a little cloudy, just had to water everything in the greenhouse as it's been so nice today. Sadly I had too much work to do and couldn't take advantage and get to the allotment.

I'm sure some of these southerners just do it on purpose to wind us northerners up.
