I've got a couple often in the garden, can't tell yet whether they'll nest in the thick hedge between me and next door - hope so

I only see them when there are berries on my callicarpa profusion, which are now long gone.

Yes, I've got one singing his gorgeous fruity warbling song from the overgrown gardens behind our flat as I type Definitely one of my favourite birds and I always know Spring has arrived when I hear my first - which this year was Saturday 16th April. There always seems to be one have a territory next to the wall of Hulne Park right next to my allotment and it's so relaxing to listen to him.

Whereabouts in Scotland are you Jay22? They do turn up in the summer apart from the western isles and far corner.

Once you get your ear in as to bird songs it's amazing how much more you will see.

Oh and small pumpkin - I am seriously jealous of that male Ring Ouzel!!!! Never seen one of those in my life - which is terrible considering I've been a 'proper' birder for 35 years or so and they breed in the Harthope Valley which is not that far away I heard they are back now so planning to drive up that way and go and try to find one in the next couple of weeks...
If I'm not on the Grapevine I can usually be found here!....https://www.thecomfreypatch.co.uk/

Used to have a breeding pair here, but not seen either for a couple of years or more.

            Lovely little birds.

Saw one 2 weeks ago, somewhat embarrassingly.
Wandering around a small RSPB reserve, someone I spoke to said they were trying to see one but had had no luck. Arrived at the car park and there was one hopping around the bushes and brambles, sort of just in front of me. Few seem to realise that the car park is one of the bet places to see a fair selection.
