  • Old O.S. maps

    I've just found a clever site - National Library of Scotland - where you can look at old O.S. maps circa 1900 of your area, and overlay or underlay them with a modern map, and for that you can choose road or satellite etc. I found it very interesting, and thought maybe a few other grapes would too.
    There's a slider so you can change the transparency to bring up or fade out the 'underneath' map.
    It's not just Scottish maps, but all of Britain.
