  • New seed variety (flowersprouts) and weird pest needing ID

Has anyone heard of this flower sprout? I am going to give them a bash this year apparently its not hard to grow, just the same as normal sprouts.
Or does anyone on here grow em, wonder if they are anything new?

Also I was presented with a pest today which I am not familiar with, I said I would ask you guys as there is nothing in my books neither.

So apparently its a tiny white fly which looks like dust until you touch it. Its no way white fly as this new pest is minute you can only see that it is a fly why you disturb it. It was on sprouts and kale.

    Thanks guys

Grew them last year and we love them, taste wise they are a cross between a Brussels sprout and kale, grew about 7 plants and we have had so many on each plant, started harvesting them late November and still have more although they are getting too big now, will definitely be growing them again this year as I found they do better than sprouts.

Also got loads of white fly on ours, but i just give them a good wash when I have picked them.

Your mystery pest sounds like a baby whitefly.
