Yes I grew it last year

To be honest I found it very fast growing but the cold tolerance was poor, I put them out late May and they all went yellow (cold damaged)

I resowed some and the next ones grew rapidly and the taste was excellent.

So to sum up I found they were a very good short season tomato but hated cold weather

If you want a cold tolerate tomato I would recommend outdoor girl.

I sowed what was left in a 4yr old packet of self saved Latah, thinking only a few would come up. I think they all did quicker and stronger than all the other varieties.

I grew Latah last year and I've also got some on the go now. I was pleased with the performance of mine last year. They fruited early, I had a very good crop and they tasted really good. The plants themselves look spindly and week early on, the leaves are spaced far apart. I've got done spare seed if you want some Lumpy.

Tomato temperance tolerance for me means a tomato that will set fruit even in a cool Summer within a short time frame. So even if they are labeled as "cold tolerant" I wouldn't plant them outdoors in May but I would expect them to perform well outside in a poor Summer.

I grew these last year. Certainly quick, but I was disappointed with the crop.

I'm trying your outdoor girl this year Maverick - I'll do a side by side comparison

I thought Latah was a good plant. I had a good crop - (it wasn't huge but the plant wouldn't have held anymore - they weren't that big) but the flavour was all there. Preferred them to the maskotka which I also grew in buckets.

I really loved Latah too, I think i just got a little bit carried away with the cold tolerance and put them out too early and ruined them

Outdoor girl was a great grower, the only tip possible I can add is it has those multi branched trusses which can have loads and loads of tomatoes on, I found that its best to actually take 1/3 of the forming tomoatoes off because the ones at the end never form properly and you get better fruit that way

I really like them they will tolerate less than ideal growing conditions IME. They are fast growing so starting them later they will catch up especially if early growing conditions are good which is basically what others have said but wanted to add my tuppence.

I put my 2nd lot of seeds in on Tuesday - I really hope they germinate. If not I will get some newer seeds.
