    first chicks this year

    got caught unawares(long story dont ask) and ended up with a young pullet going broody on 13 eggs so separated her and managed to get 6 healthy youngsters parents old english game grey stag and grey pullet and a partridge pullet so have to wait and see what they turn out like ! feels good to have some chicks at this time of the year like the season has started despite the weather


    coming up to 3 weeks old soon

      Yes please updates
      I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

        is that the grey ? if it is there were 3 of them from last year, i gave one away and ive kept the 2, or the brown red further on in the album?

                thank you jay ! its the garden ! well i suppose its really an allotment theres not much grass, more of a kitchen garden ,we need to use the space best we can ,it a bit of a juggling act lol,
