      I really do hope that this is the sign of things to come.......

      Yesterday OH went out just after the Pye box packed up and I was left with no tele and 3 dogs all over the age of 10 - I got exercise letting them out every 20 mins or so (3rd dog is Poppy the daughters)

      Today I put the compost in the deep seed tray to start my strawberries off - the ones free with the mag and there were absolutely no seeds in the packet.

      I am now in again on my own after OH has been out most of the day to get the pluggie things for an ariel wire - got ones that were too big and vanished for another 2 hours to get skinny ones.

        Hubby who volunteers to go and get the weekend offers from a certain supermarket.
        List is 3 X tbags, 3 X bacon and 1 tomato sauce.
        Guess what I got? 2 X Tomato sauce.
        No tea bags, not a surprise
        Thought you wouldn't like the bacon (unsmoked back rasher )
        We had those medallion things last week

          Buying fabric conditioner and it always seems to leak all over the boot, atleast it smells nice

          (haha my OH is the same, he cannot be trusted in the supermarket, even with the most detailed of lists )
          I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

            In about an hour's time there will be 350+ runners turning my favourite local field footpaths to mush as they run in the Huncote Hash x-country run. The paths will be pretty much unusable again until they dry out, which will be months away.

            While I like to see the runners, and admire their grit, I hate having to tramp through ankle deep mud, uphill too, when I go for a walk

                  People that make fleeting remarks and I am sure it is just to irratate the s*** out of me.

                  It is amazing how much people without children or those that walked out on theirs know about what you should be doing with your own children

                          Senior family member who is a control freak.
                          Why can't he let pople live their own lives? They're not doong him, themselves, or anyone else any harm, but he doesn't like the fact they moved away, and it drives him nuts,

                              My FiL who wants a family get together NOW. Fails to see that the family is a big family and several of us have kids and work. Not a local get together so it means travelling 200 miles and finding some where to stop. The logistics of getting everyone to have the same days off and get hotels or B&B's sorted are going to be horrific to sort out.
                              If we don't go then we are going to be in the wrong. But the favourite member of the family who will make a lame excuse for not going will still be the apple of his eye.
