Just got home from a New Year party with the friends I went to school with plus some other regulars. The club holds 100 to 150. We had drinks, a meal, music, spot prizes and raffels all for charity.
One charity was for the hospice and the other was for the local lifeboat.
Everyone had a great night as they all know each so the atmosphere was great.
        Welcome to 2016.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Happy New year all from me and mine to you and yours. Too dark to see what the weather is saying to things but at least the wind has dropped. Let's hope 2016 is relatively civilised.

          Edit note.

Frosty out and about time too

Morning, frosty here first thing. Was pretty nippy walking home last night.
Going got a nice big breakfast shortly, bet our daughter doesn't turn up.
For a girl whose tablets knock her out, I don't know why she makes these silly promises. There is no way she will get up lol.
                    We will enjoy it.
Have a great day everyone, Spring is coming........

Happy New a Year All! It's dull, grey and damp here but the good news is I haven't got a hang over!!!

I had a great night last night, dinner at friends (20 of us ) chilli and rice, several puddings and cheese with a "pub quiz" in the middle. Unfortunately my brain isn't that good under pressure and even the garden ones I only got 6/10 .

                        Happy 2016,

Look at all you dirty stop outs, i feel asleep at 11pm whoops, i was so tired
Off to have a lovely stroll on the beach today and hopefully have some tapas out, the weather is beautiful.
If i get chance i might even sow some seeds later, this time last year i was like a little factory

                        Have a lovely day x

                          Happy New Year to all.
When we were coming home in the early hours it was one of those beautiful crunch underfoot frosty nights we had years ago in the winter time.
This morning we are back to dull, wet and windy.

Happy New year everyone. So, grand-daughter did not want to go to sleep last night. Stubborn little missy. Her Mum tried and then I tried. Eventually in desperation after about an hour, I started singing to her and she went to sleep ... not because she was 'soothed' but because it was the only way to stop me singing. Ha! Now they know what to threaten her with - go to sleep or we'll get Granma to sing to you.

Lots of fireworks and not just at midnight either. Worse than 5th November. Very chilly today - well it's winter and we are not used to cold weather. I was going to plant some onion seeds but it is far too cold in the garage to go and play with compost. Tomorrow perhaps
